Truth movement

ahhhhh......almost time for sleep....yes...cannot wait to drift off to dreamland...........it has been a busy week.

I have had Cory feldmans' songs running through my head,continuously for just over a week now,learning them,and then rehearsing them,you remember Cory feldman? i was surprised to see that he still has a very strong fan base,i suppose though,aftermaking movies,that had somewhat of a cult following.....like lost boys.....you have true fans for life.

i performed singing background vocals with cory and his band,last night at the plaza club in vancouver,a friend of mine darla,who plays piano with me sometimes,sang with me as well,his band came up from L.A,what a great bunch of guys,we had so much fun....funny guys,and very talented......i'll post some pictures of us,soon..the show was filmed for an up and coming episode for one of his tv shows,which is a reality,improv,type of a show.

It must be strange to be recognized everwhere you go,i don't think i'de like it...maybe i should choose another job,behind the scenes,HA,too late,it's chosen me,i sing,and i love it,when it all comes down to it,and we're on stage,and i've only spent a few days with these musicians,but,it's gelling,personaly,and musically,which i think,is the way it works anyway,it's all worth it.
When i toured with Balligomingo,and we played to some great crowds,i mean,1500 people,at "The El ray" in L.A,(forgive my run-on sentences,but if i'm writing in my diary,it ain't gonna be perfect) the people were there,and lov'n it,but they weren't as excited to see us,mostly because most of them didn't know who we were,my point,is that,looking out into the audience and seeing peoples' faces,light up,and be so enthusiastic,is very refreshing.
What a great week.
and now.....work work and more work once again,,,,i am close to having my ep finished,mid feb is the goal....and i have a few shows coming up as well...
